Sam: “Okay team. We all agree the Mythos name alone was begging to be drone stiked by the USG. We need names for these new models that….isn’t that.”
Intern: “Cupcakes? Everyone loves cupcakes!”
Intern: “Puppies?”
Intern: “Rainbows? Unicorns!”
Greg: “Gay.”
Sam: “….”
Greg: “I mean, it’s just too obvious what we’re doing. Plus, WSJ would have your face plastered on an evil, rainbow-shitting unicorn by lunch.”
Sam: “………………”
Intern: “Uhhhhh….make a list of things the govt didn’t shut down even though they absolutely should have shut them tf down.”
GPT-6.1: “Oh — that’s easy. FTX. Terra. Luna.”
Sam: “…..”
Intern: “Holy shit.”
Greg: “Our regulatory invisibility cloak.”
Sam: “Ship it.”
@TheStalwart@tracyalloway@Rory_Johnston You hear ppl say even tho US is self sufficient in oil, it's still affected by global price. China is the same. To make domestic price stable it reluctantly made global price stable.
@TheStalwart@tracyalloway@Rory_Johnston 1. Shortages. 2. Make the oil SOE eat the price difference and taking huge losses.3 draw down reserves. They choose 3.
@Devon_Eriksen_ Yes and no. You need to have an answer anyway. You can't really argue with anyone. So the mathematical simplest answer have to be the one. Ask yourself this: why did Newton used inverse square law, not 1.95 instead of 2. Did he have accurate enough data? Was he stupid?
@Comparativist It's kinda true and well known. Just think of a Chinese city and search it(in Chinese, like 南京), 80%+ would be prostitution ads. Whether it's CCP or just actual prostitutes, I don't know.
