@declassifiedUK So the UK doesn’t see a potential problem with a wealthy Russian oligarch purchasing Ukrainian infrastructure from a private equity firm a little further down the line?
@georgegalloway This is a US proxy war. Superficially washing its hands but still making demands via NATO. Trump needs to put his money where his mouth is and leave NATO. The US have interfered & engineered this mess through failed foreign policy & incompetence. We are NOT their ‘Janitors’.
@mikegalsworthy Genuine non confrontational question:
Do you accept that Russian interference in the Brexit referendum could NOT be evidenced?
The Elliotts, however did form the Tax Alliance with involvement from US Libertarian Lobbyists.
I understand your beef with Trump but not with Russia.
@JoaniReid I think when a woman has to stoop to this kind of behaviour to be validated at work then it’s time to reflect.
You have children Joani and I genuinely don’t think you came into politics to do this.
Think carefully Joani. Many people are losing their lives and futures. For what?
@Normanjam67 Madness
On a lighter note have you ever lied on a CV to get a job Norman? I mean I got a swimming certificate when I was 8 in life saving skillz. Does that make me a qualified life guard in the Labour Party therefore I could essentially take the job to StOp tHe BoAts🤪
@ALLREDToDoRoJo I turned 50 this year & been reflecting a lot on this stuff. I think it’s a massive privilege to have older people in your life. I miss my grandparents a lot & didn’t fully appreciate them, what they said and did for me. I hear you ❤️
@EdwardJDavey Ed, you confuse the Fu-k out of me. Zip lining & laughing through an election, optics of a wonderful caring husband standing up for the wholesome British Libs.
AND then you come out with this utter shit.
Is Vonder Van woman going let Ukraine join EU - NO
Is NATO - NO
The End
@AngelaRayner I work in Tameside- teacher. We have:2 children need specialist placement- no places, 3 awaiting EHCP - no SEN support, 1/2 class on provision maps- 1/2 TA role.
2.8% unfunded pay rise = more cuts
Working conditions deteriorate = ill health & people leave.
More tax for us?!!!!!!
@DefenceHQ@Vernon_Coaker@JohnHealey_MP Please could you signpost me to the data/impact assessment/analysis by the MOD re: destruction in Gaza caused by F35 parts. I wish to see how you meet the legal framework pertaining to Articles 7 & 11 of the ATT in relation to procurement/sale of F35 parts from Lockheed Martin.

In the last few weeks there have been serious and concerning developments regarding my sons’ father, Imran Khan’s treatment in prison. The Pakistan authorities have stopped all visits to him by his family and his lawyers. They have also postponed all court hearings. In addition to cutting off in- person visits, and in defiance of a court order, his weekly calls to his sons, Sulaiman and Kasim Khan, who are British and who live in London, were stopped on 10th September. We have received reports that the authorities have now turned off the lights and electricity in his cell and he is no longer allowed to leave his cell at any time. The jail cook has been sent on leave. He is now completely isolated, in solitary confinement, literally in the dark, with no contact with the outside world. His lawyers are concerned about his safety and well-being.
These actions come in the context of ongoing targeting of Imran’s family, as well as his party (PTI) members and supporters in an attempt to silence them and all political opposition in Pakistan. Imran’s nephew, Hassan Niazi, a civilian, has been detained in military custody since August 2023. More recently, Imran Khan’s sisters, Uzma and Aleema Khan, who have continued to speak out on his behalf, have also been arrested as they made their way peacefully to a demonstration and they are currently being held in jail, despite there being no proper or lawful basis for their imprisonment.
In June this year the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention found that Imran is unlawfully and arbitrarily detained and called for his immediate release.
As a matter of urgency , we are calling for Imran Khan’s release, and for the release of his sisters and nephew as well as for his sons’ contact with their father to be re-established, so that they may have assurance first-hand that he is well and not being mistreated.
@Consortiumnews@unjoe@CathyVoganSPK@crankycurlew Ali was an incredible activist. Met her a few times in London. She had a shopping trolley full of Assange stuff: banners, posters, leaflets. She’d set it all up, grab the mic or megaphone & she was off.
She inspired me to get off my backside.
RIP Ali ❤️
