Our tifo at the MLS Cup was MLS 2.0 a standard, taking the league to new heights. It wasn’t “in a cap league consistency isn’t possible.” Now we’re told to lower our expectations.

@timclark89 @MikeConti929 I was thinking of the Hawks. They do just enough to keep hope alive, albeit, it’s a dim light. They make the playoffs most years but never have what it takes to actually accomplish greatness. Winning is more than talent, it’s a culture. We haven’t truly had that since Tata left.

It allows you to scapegoat an individual or gaslight the fans saying making the playoffs (barely) & getting bounced in the 1st round is success. Then placate with promises of a better season next time. It’s old!

@MikeConti929 @timclark89 That’s my point. Columbus, Seattle, and LAFC have the same restrictions; yet we consistently spend more with worse results. We can’t use the cap as an excuse. We have to hold the people accountable that are failing to get the most out of the rules. Because there are examples.
