Two weeks ago, I resigned from OpenAI to join Jurassic Park as a founding researcher, where we’re cross-breeding extinct dinosaurs on an island off of Costa Rica.
Excited for the work ahead and the fun problems we get to tackle!
joe rogan: so she broke in?
me: kind of but you have to remember this was actually common practice then
joe rogan: totally, yes. there was like a shared village mentality
me: and the owners had left porridge of varying temperatures out
joe rogan: no way. no fucking way
I've now added Wispr, Notion, Granola, Fireflies, Zoom, Gemini, Cluely, Otter, Fathom, Read AI, and Wingrep to every meeting.
Each produces slightly different meeting notes.
I send all of them to Claude and ChatGPT, which push the summaries into Slackbot and Salesforce AI. Linear agents automatically create tickets while Notion agents create follow-ups in Notion. A Zapier workflow then uses 500k tokens to draft a follow up email in Superhuman.
None of it works and all of it is wrong but man, is it beautiful.
AGI is here.
@cathjenkin 100% agreeeee, I've also been charging a daily rate, which also works much better. Just crazy that I spent the first half of my career charging based on something that was counterintuitive to me doing the job well. Am idiot
Charging a per-word rate for copywriting is actually a terrible idea considering the entire job is communicating a message in the least possible amount of words
