@SamRobertsComms 1 of 2 - Haven’t really chimed in on this debate, but adding my thoughts. Other unions (IRFU, NZ Rugby, SARU) who are arguably 3 of the strongest in world rugby currently, run a very successful semi-professional/amateur 2nd tier that feeds into the professional setups.

It was a collection of dominant scrums that got Boks back in it. Much like if England had won, it would’ve been a combination of great L/O & maul D & kicking accuracy that

@bengully @SamRobertsComms It’s an emotive comment made without much thought. In my opinion it’s disrespectful to England. If that penalty had gone the other way, would he have said Ben O’Keefe has just lost South Africa the game? Unlikely.
