wait, you guys know literally anyone can go to any film festival, right?
you don’t have to be famous or someone who makes movies. you can just…buy a ticket and go.
Inspired by @queeringthemap_, founded by Lucas LaRochelle, at this year’s @NewFestNYC's Queering the Canon we encouraged audiences to contribute their own queer anecdotes, notes, experiences, and memories.

Jodie Foster: Je T'attends Depuis La Nuit Des Temps (1977). Jodie Foster had a brief teenage pop career in France. Having studied at Lycée Français de Los Angeles she was fluent in French and following Bugsy Malone everyone knew she could sing.
So in 1977 she released a couple of French singles, one for the movie Moi, Fleur Bleue and this one with it's unique video montage.
Big shoutout to the @NewFestNYC programmers who absolutely smashed it out of the park with this year’s slate! They featured so many debuts and inclusive, original stories told by unique filmmakers that will continue to positively shape the next generation of cinema! #NewFest37
