@i_feeltherush Just saw this, thank you for the added context. I think I ended up changing his character's past for my re-written scene and honestly I do like it better that way. But I do appreciate u giving me more context to his character.
So, I haven't seen The Idol. Never have, never will. But I saw a clip that sucked so much that I tried to rewrite it on my own and give more emotion/background for Xander. An I have to ask... did they ever, in the show, specify how he got his job, who he's worked with (cont'd)
Yes, I believe Travis is a bad person. He has little regard for those who like his work, or who he works with. He comes off like a delusional diva who has lost the plot when it comes to why he has made it as far as he has.
Rappers, stop makin music for other rappers. Make music for the average listener, THATS who you truly need and are tryin to appeal to. You need fans, not validation.
When Sonic the Hedgehog was arrested in Sonic Adventure 2, he was placed in the same cell where Gerald Robotnik was executed.

I think Spiderverse and EEAAO's success demonstrates why MCU and other multiverse stories aren't working. Two ways to go about a multiverse story:

2) "Look at all the different *yous* out there"
Here's why option 2 works. (1/x)
You have to talk to people. For networking, meetings with your directors, to clients, pitching, talking to other professionals in general. I'm sorry, saying "i'm a reclusive introvert artist i'm just a little guyyy" will not change that this is skill is required, not optional.
It just frustrates me to no end that puberty for a lot of afabs can be such a traumatizing experience
You get exposed to a massive amount of misogyny and then have to bare the burden of making grown men look at you differently
