Yesterday evening, Baird Gore from Glen Norah was abducted from his home by armed men in a black Ford Raptor. When they first arrived, he was not home, so they b€at his brother while asking where he was. When Baird returned, they grabbed him, blindfolded him, and took him to an unknown place.

He was badly b€aten and questioned about CDF activities and Tendai Biti, including who organised the recent press conference, who is supporting the group, when it will launch, and who is funding it. He suffered serious injuri€s, such as a suspected brok€n hand, back injuri€s, and leg injuri€s after his legs were run over with a vehicle.

After several hours, he was dumped near City Sports Centre around 7pm. He then reported the matter to police and was taken to Harare Hospital for urgent treatment. Around 2am, armed officers from Machipisa Police Station arrived at the hospital, refused to wait for doctors to finish treatment, and forcefully removed him from the hospital.
