@HOKAONEONE I bought a pair of Cavu 3 from one of your retailers. I have 2 pairs of Cavu and Cavu 2 and loved them. The fit of the Cavu 3 is different around the toe box and, having worn them for a few runs, I have sore toes. I can’t return them to the retailer - any suggestions?

Ok, so lots of anger about a Roads Policing Unit 🚔 giving words of advice to a group of cyclists exceeding the speed limit…👀

So interesting fact for you, cyclists aren’t bound by vehicle speed limits! 🚴

Bet you didn’t know that!? 🤯

So why would The Police give words of advice to the cyclists about their speed? 🤔

Well whilst there aren’t offences for cyclists such as ‘Cycling without due care and attention’ there are still pieces of legislation that do apply. 👀

Back in 2017 a cyclist was found guilty of causing bodily harm by ‘Wanton and Furious Cycling’ contrary to the 1861 Offences Against The Person Act.
They were found guilty due to their speed, condition of the bicycle and recklessness and were jailed for 18 months as the person struck by the cyclist tragically died. 😞

So whilst the reason for the stop might not have been overtly apparent, it’s for good reason. 🛑

Also, some queries about what exemption the Police Officers had themselves to exceed the vehicular speed limit? 👀
Providing the Police Driver is appropriately trained, the Driver has an exemption and the speed limit does not apply if the vehicle is being used for a Policing purpose and that observing the speed limit would hinder the use of the vehicle for that purpose; in this instance Roads Policing. 🚓

We all need to share the road considerately and safely, and my colleagues were quite rightly pointing out that exceeding the vehicular speed limit can still have serious consequences. 🤷🏼‍♂️

@ohbee07 The Highway Code states that cyclists should ride in the centre of the lane and not hugging the gutter so no issues with the cyclist’s position in the road. Just an inconsiderate driver
