Its not that the data is old (and it largely very much is) its that:

1) They have to go back 125 years to get ~1000 murders which is average 8 per year.
2) They do no analysis of the rate of femicide compared to other locations or across that time period. Is the rate higher now than before?
3) They do not examine the last 10-25 years at all or provide insight into what that data looks like with any nuance. Of course in 1900 most femicide murders were committed by white people - who else was even there? What about 2025?

They are so confident in their data and analysis that they... locked the entire thing down so they could just dump some BS without anyone leaving that deeper analysis for anyone to see.
