FT: Brighton 3-0 Arsenal. Credit to Brighton for a thoroughly deserved victory against Arsenal here at the Amex. Without taking anything anyway from an impressive Seagulls side on their 125th anniversary you have to say it was a very poor Arsenal performance, as bad as anything I can recall under Mikel Arteta. David Raya had a game to forget. Martin Odegaard and Kai Havertz offered little, with Christos Tzolis and Bruno Guimaraes anonymous, while substitutes Mikel Merino, Viktor Gyokeres and Eberechie Eze were unable to influence proceedings. A day to forget for the champions. Perhaps for once the international break has come at the right time for Arsenal. As for Brighton, you simply have to congratulate them on their merited win as the far better side on such a memorable day for the Seagulls
