This new $OSS order is highly significant!
The $8.4 million - expected to be fully recognized as revenue in 2026 - accounts for around 20% of the (conservatively) estimated annual revenue!
At the same time, volumes are actually expected to increase over the coming years! As always: land -> expand.
Another interesting point: We rarely get to know exact unit prices, but we do know they are receiving that sum for 91 servers. That means they are generating over $92,000 in revenue per server. ๐คฏ That is an enormous amount.
Just imagine if they win the platform deal for the US Army's groundvehicles, involving several thousand units... ๐

Many investors seem to assume that because we haven't seen many announced contract wins in recent weeks, business must have slowed down.
I actually think quite the opposite is the case.
OSS is running at a 1.8x book-to-bill ratio, which tells us orders are coming in significantly faster than revenue is being recognized. That's not what a company with a weak pipeline looks like.
What I think the market is missing is that many customers especially in defense and national security related applications don't necessarily want their contracts publicly announced. In many cases, OSS can't simply put out a press release whenever it wins business. Customer approval and final sign-off are often required first. Most of the Press releases in Q1 were about order wins from existing customers, which already were known to allow orders wins to be publicly announced.
As OSS continues expanding into new programs and new customers, it's entirely possible that some wins never get publicly highlighted at all.
The way I see it, the growing backlog and book-to-bill ratio are telling a much more important story than the number of press releases.
Patience.

Another upgrade for $OSS! ๐
Lake Street analyst Eric Martinuzzi has just raised the firm's price target on One Stop Systems to $21 (up from $18) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst hiked the target after hosting management for a series of meetings, coming away with significantly increased confidence in the company's business momentum.
I am incredibly curious to know what exactly was discussed behind closed doors during those meetings! To see the price target lifted again less than a month after it was already raised following the stellar Q1 earnings proves that the internal tailwinds and pipeline acceleration at $OSS are moving faster than the market can keep up with.

KV cache, CXL & $PENG in First Principles:
Transformers (LLM architectures) generate text one token at a time (autoregressive).
To predict the next token, the model has to re-read every prior token via attention.
Instead of recomputing attention from scratch every time (insanely slow). So the model stores the "keys" + "values" (KV) of all past tokens in fast GPU memory.
That stored KV data is the KV cache.
Then the KV cache grows linearly with context length:
- Short chat: tiny
- 128k tokens: ~100+ gb
- 1M tokens: ~1 TB+
GPUs have HBM that costs $300-500/gb.
So when the KV cache doesn't fit, you're forced to either:
- buy way more GPUs (expensive), or
- slow everything down
That then raises the core problem: the decode phase becomes memory-capacity + bandwidth bound... not compute-bound.
CXL e.g. $PENG's solves that.
CXL lets GPUs access pools of cheap DRAM ($10-30/gb) w/ full cache coherence - same programming model as HBM, but ~20x cheaper, 10โ100x larger, and low enough latency for sequential KV reads.
Which is basically the entire economic reason $PENG's MemoryAI (& CXL KV cache in general) exists.
Iโve said it before, and Iโll say it again: the $OSS Q1 earnings call was a absolute goldmine of bullish signals.
If you havenโt read the transcript yet, do it now!
The organic growth alone is staggering:
๐ 70% YoY in Q4 2025
๐ 55% YoY in Q1 2026
But hereโs the real kicker from the Q&A: We used to view the potential 360ยฐ Situational Awareness Army contract ($200M+) as the "cherry on top." ๐
Now, CEO Mike Knowles is revealing that the pipeline is shifting. Itโs no longer just one "big bet" but there are now multiple "transformational" opportunities appearing in both Defense and Commercial sectors.
We saw the Jan 7th order with a Defense Prime as its own standalone win, and Knowles confirmed the pipeline is expanding significantly with "substantially greater growth" potential than currently factored in.
Knowles said again that $OSS has the only solution that meets these elite requirements.
The thesis is evolving from "steady growth + one big catalyst" to "explosive growth + multiple massive catalysts."
We are still at the very beginning.
