Things conservatives told me when I was in my 20’s:
*Character counts
*Crony capitalism is bad
*Russia is our enemy
*Tariffs are taxes
*The Constitution is sacrosanct
*Government power should be limited, restrained, and checked by congress.
Guess they were just joking.
A tourist was seriously injured after a bison tossed them about 8 feet into the air in Yellowstone National Park. The attack was captured on video by photographer Mike Macleod.
Pete and Chasten Buttigieg were "swatted" by an anonymous person who called CPS and fabricated a story about Pete was committing violent crimes against his children.
The police eventually concluded the report was completely false and politically motivated, but not before the Buttigieg's 4-year-old twins were separated from their dads for a full day and put through a forensic interview.
This is exactly why the right-wing demonization of LGBTQ+ people and their families is so dangerous. This political attack weaponized the child welfare system against a family and traumatize two little kids in the process.
Whatever your politics are, targeting little children because you don't like their parents is evil. And Christians, of all people, should be the first to say so.
Michelle Obama once asked her mother why she was holding Barack's hand on election night. Her mother replied, "His father left when he was two. He lost his mother to cancer. He was moments away from becoming the leader of the free world with no parents, so I took his hand."
Look, the rule is that a living person can't be printed on our currency. So if Trump wants his face on the $250 bill in time for our 250th anniversary, he's got a tough choice to make in a short amount of time.
Remember the Hawaiian guy who took care of the dude who messed with the seal? I say we arrange for a closed-door meeting between them. Should only take, what? Five minutes?
