@united my family had to deplane and they're still waiting to get back on with no updates.
What's your policy on how much another disruptive passenger is allowed to delay literally everyone else on the plane?
@united I have family on UA 1635 from LAX to IAD, and they just got diverted to Phoenix because unruly passengers were taken off the plane, but now everybody has to deplane? Why? How delayed are they going to be because of this?
@DominionEnergy Power just went out in 22152. There really hasn't been much in the way of storms here, and yet the whole neighborhood is out.
Any idea why and how soon it will be back up?
@dtmooreeditor Has to be Palladium. Think I might have read GURPS books around the same time I got into the Red Box, but the game that actually got played was Palladium.
Lots of memories of these two books:
@Cuthpaste This is good to hear. I'm looking for something to recreate that sense of wonder from playing the Demon's Souls Japanese import for the first time, but allowing for the fact that my interest in a hard as nails game has diminished since 2009.
@capitalweather In West Springfield we just had 30 minutes of the heaviest rain I've seen in at least 10 years. Felt like times we've had tropical storm remnants.
Always fun when the yard becomes a lake.
@ChuckWendig Wild. Never seen a red one before, only green.
Reminds me a little of this chunky boy who hatched at our house this summer after a regal moth laid her eggs on a window screen.
@itsnatebennett That's like the Northern Virginia equivalent of abandoning your car on the side of the 66 *before* a big snow storm, just to get out ahead of it.
@DominionEnergy
Power's been out in zip 22152 for two hours and the outage map still doesn't show an estimate of when service will be restored.
Are we in for a long night without power, do you think?
@jbouie They should make one Master & Commander movie a year, and do that for 20 (maybe 21) years in a row, and then just loop back to the first book and start over with new actors.
The boats can probably be reused.
@palafo Interesting, although at first glance I thought this was going to be about the frustrations of the NY Times Spelling Bee game, like when it expects me to remember words like "llano" or "nonillion," or worse, when it doesn't accept words like "dado" or "zoonotic."
@jevaun I'm just saying.
Next time you're down this way, we'll do it up right with a bit batch of chilaquiles, and you'll realize the inherent limitations of the flour tortilla.
