Hey @MattHancock there are 11,500 locations in England alone that could administer the Oxford/AZ COVID-19 jab, they’re called pharmacies. 90% have consultation rooms, fridges and their supply chain has cold chain based on regulations. 2 months you’ll jab the whole population.
Superb experience at Vicar’s Cross Pharmacy this morning for our family’s flu jabs. Thanks @nickgoodwin33 and team, incredibly professional setup, well thought out and very proud of our colleagues. Has everyone had it already? Book into your local pharmacy today #flu#pharmacy
@DHSCgovuk You should be ashamed of yourselves for parading this as if you’re supporting community Pharmacy. We need proper funding, not just a loan that will be taken back in a few months time. Shame on you at a time when everyone else is applauding
@AutoBant Thought I semi recognised the car, sorry that you were caught up in that. Don’t apologise, no problem. It’s a badly designed junction. Hope all involved are ok 👍
We’ve administered 25 walk-in private flu jabs so far today. That’s 25 people willing to pay for an injection due to it being convenient. Imagine what pharmacy could do for uptake if we could administer routine NHS vaccines without charge.
@NHSBSA I have noticed that the online pharmacy portal relating to the monthly prescription item report has been unavailable for 3 weeks due to scheduled maintenance...when does this end please? Thank you
Why do patients come for a repeat Rx saying "I ordered it online!" as if somehow this guarantees it's appearance at the pharmacy. I ordered a replacement wheelie bin online from our local council three weeks ago, but that hasn't been delivered.
It might seem cynical, but any pharmacy that is keeping it’s head above water at the moment is bound to have some strong leadership within it’s organisation. #WePh
