@ivandemigoal Winning rounds is huge for experience for this very young team. I would rather miss playoffs and get a top 10 pick than lose round 1 every year, but to say anything like that about winning rounds is crazy. I think back to the Price days and picking 24,25,26 isn’t good long term

@DemidovHart If it’s not Suzy, Danault, Kap or Evan’s we aren’t winning the draw. 3 of those 4 are 3rd line C’s that’s great news for the 4th line, not so great for the 2nd.

@DemidovHart He wasn’t ready to be a C in the NHL. It was very evident at the WJC. And that’s ok for a young player but if wants to be a C and we should want him to be a C then college is a good choice. Dach and Newhook already struggle on faceoffs. You can’t add another

@islanders_takes I think thats a massive part in it, I have no idea if its a MSL thing or the group of guys. Could be both but they seem to all have the same mindset and thats a belief in themselves. Might me Marty with uhis undrafted never quit on yourself attitude

@_JordanDecker Newhook hasnt shown up offensively but he’s had numerous defensive efforts where I noticed how well he played something. Need to keep his defense but find a way to get some offense

but then 2nd and 3rd lines just wont win any faceoffs

@HabsOnReddit In fairness, I know every single time Dobson gets the puck on the right point that he is shooting far side low for a tip or rebound. It’s all he does, I’m not saying I don’t like it but I recognized it long ago

If used correctly you’re basically considering everything down the blood stream of the tourniquet no longer viable. You’re doing more damage applying a tourniquet here than the actual injury

@SensBuzz @Laf4MVP_ Habs fan. Unless Dahlin has fallen off in the last 2 years (he could have) Dahlin is better. Probably bump McAvoy to debatable as well but lower end. With those changes Id likely keep the list the same if it was Hutson instead putting OTT in MTL's spot

@lori10habs yea the 60% of games is brutal. big difference if RA was signed (i still dont like it but at least get it now) my thing is Guhle is great when healthy. the skate cut and appendix are some of his more recent injuries, i just think if he stays healthy you regret the move
