@Arkypatriot I am frequently bamboozled, discombobulated and flabbergasted by the shenanigans, malarkey and tomfoolery that goes on, usually committed by a nincompoop whose lollygagging creates a kerfuffle or brouhaha that makes my life go cattywampus causing me to skedaddle!🤪🤪🤪
@DarrigoMelanie You have no idea what you’re talking about. And you will never come close to contributing as much to society as he has. You live off of taxpayers money and contribute nothing.
While the left is screaming about Elon‘s net worth after today’s IPO approximately 1.14 trillion
They failed to mention that today 4400 SpaceX employees became millionaires 400 employees are worth 100 million or more and between 10,000 - 20,000 Tesla employees are millionaires.
How many millionaires has taxing the wealthy created?
Yes. So sick that he provides hundreds of thousands of people with jobs. More when you add in contractors and suppliers.
So sick that he took climate change seriously and created the first successful EV.
So sick that he developed Star Link, which provides internet access to millions. Whose Direct to Cell network has made it possible for some people to send SMS messages and ping emergency services for the first time ever. People in the Pacific Islands, the Amazon, parts of Africa. So sick that he makes the service free to those suffering natural disasters so that they don’t lose their ability to communicate.
So sick that he sent one of his rockets to rescue our Astronauts from the Space Station after they had been there for 9 months and NASA couldn’t get them home.
So sick that one of his companies is currently approved and testing neural link implants that will hopefully provide mobility for paraplegics, or give sight to the blind. That’s pretty sick right there. 🙄🤦🏻♀️
What have you developed/given the world?
We do tax the rich. And he does pay a higher tax rate. He paid more taxes than anyone else in the country last year to the tune of $11B. In fact it was the highest individual tax bill in history.
What we need to do is elect leaders who know how to manage money. Who know how to hold those who receive our tax dollars accountable for how those dollars are used. Who know how to live within our means.
Both Medicare and Social Security are dangerously close to becoming insolvent. We are over $39T in debt. None of that is Elon Musk’s fault. Or Jeff Bezos, or Bill Gates, or Larry Page, or Sergey Brin. The fault lies solely in the hands of all the politicians who have rolled through DC over the last few decades. So concerned with power that they are willing to bribe voters with money we don’t have. Turn your anger where it belongs. Go look in the mirror.
Not really sure why it matters whether he personally remembers Obama or not. Plenty of books and news articles out there if you want to learn about the history of this country. I don’t remember Dwight Isenhour, but I have learned a good deal about him over the years.
The man is making a comparison. That’s all.
Musk provides jobs to hundreds of thousands. He brought us one of the first successful EV’s. He made internet available to millions around the world who didn’t have it. He helped develop the rocket that rescued our astronauts. He’s working with the FDA on trials for implants that could potentially bring mobility to the paralyzed, and sight to the blind.
What exactly have you contributed to society?
Why didn’t you feel this way when Democrats were spending hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars to provide lodging, food and healthcare to people entered our country illegally - instead of using that money to help our own homeless and hungry? We were putting illegal aliens up in hotels while our homeless slept in the streets beneath their windows. Were you ok with that? Did you come on social media and demand accountability?
Considering that most of his wealth is on paper what you’re really saying is that you think he should have to sacrifice one of the businesses he has worked so hard to build.
Democrats are the greediest folks around.
Take your greed and jealousy and crawl back into your hole. He has contributed more to society than you could ever hope to.
You’re right. Most of his wealth is on paper. It’s tied up in his companies that provide jobs to hundreds of thousands, more when you add in suppliers and contractors. The same companies that brought us one of the first successful EV’s. And expanded internet access to many around the world who never had it before. And created the rocket that was able to rescue our astronauts from the space station. And are currently working on trials with the FDA on implants that could provide mobility to people who have lost it, or sight for those who are blind.
Just because he isn’t contributing the way YOU believe he should doesn’t mean that he’s not contributing. Go work your tail off and earn your own trillions and you can use it to contribute however you want to. 🙄🤦🏻♀️
You mean like developing one of the first successful EV’s? Or making the internet available to more people around the world? Or developing a rocket that was able to rescue our astronauts from the Space Station? Or developing neurological chips that are now in FDA trials to give paralysis patients the ability to interact more with their world, and threads that may be able to restore sight? As well as the surgical robots to insert these devices? Or providing jobs to hundreds of thousands, even more when you add in contractors and suppliers? Or even a social media network where you can come on and complain about him to your hearts content?
Seems to me that he has made a lot of contributions. Remember as well that most of his wealth is on paper. Tied up in the businesses that have brought these innovations to the world. He doesn’t have a trillion dollars hiding in his mattress. 🤦🏻♀️🙄
Remember the Mississippi couple Billy and Virginia Blair who were murdered in their home by 17 year old Cordarius Hobbs last week?
Turns out his two older brothers Cortavious and Cortavion Hobbs were just caught after shooting a Covington County deputy during a traffic stop.
That deputy will never walk again.
Three brothers. One family. Two separate violent crimes in five days. This is the story the national media doesn't want to talk about?
