What Democrats wanted vs what they got.

Inspired by Elon Musk's posts about scaling down the federal budget...this photo shows all the bills Democrats had ready to run on Monday (left) vs what they got done when we ended the session on Friday (right).

This took a Herculean effort by Republican leaders @SenAricNesbitt and @RepMattHall and culminated in the 29 hour battle on the Senate floor.

The result is that many of the worst legislative ideas in Michigan's history, which looked inevitable just a week ago, will never become law.
