Sony planned to move PlayStation toward digital-only games by 2028, but new rumors suggest that transition could now be delayed by 1–2 years.

The backlash is also reportedly growing at Gamescom, with concerns from gamers and parts of the industry over Sony’s disc-free strategy.

Meanwhile, Microsoft is reportedly considering keeping physical games on its next-gen Xbox, while potentially allowing players to convert physical discs into digital licenses.

If these reports are true, Sony may be starting to rethink how aggressively it moves away from physical games - especially with the PS6 on the horizon.

@FoxNews With the forethought our forefathers had drafting of our founding documents, they couldn't have thought of everything. They left it to future generations to add to their work. This is one that needs to happen. We have plenty of people born in the US to have these govt positions
