@HandicapperFAL@JCCostilli@JonAlba The issue with your logic. You want them to succeed but what they're doing "isn't moving the needle".
Why does that matter to you? They just signed a huge media deal that assures they will continue to have TV. They're about to start simulcasting on Max. They're succeeding.
@937Mark @elliottswrstlin His matches in Japan are criminally overrated, not underrated.
Everything he did in North America was better, because his strength is playing to the crowd.
His matches in Japan were fine. But compared to everyone else he was moving at half speed.
@nicojameson3@DrDiamondfire@JustinWhang Why did you go with the most silly, hyperbolic option?
It shouldn't be illegal for a parent to do a shitty job raising a kid.
Again, media is not the problem. Video games don't make kids violent. Social media doesn't make kids dumb.
It is not a problem for the gov't to solve.
@greg_maciel@BackupHangman Yep! And sadly they sold very few tickets and the production was awful. It looked and sounded like crap. The opposite of the other 5 Strong shows this year.
It's a really cool venue and they made it look like a dump.
@punkinomenon@PagingDrZiggles@TheEmilJay Come to think of it, I think he just slowly rolled into an armbar. I don't think any of the viral Hogan in Japan clips show him grabbing an actual juji gatame.
@punkinomenon@PagingDrZiggles@TheEmilJay It's possibly the most overrated wrestling of all time. Most people who rave about "Hogan in Japan" have seen clips of him hitting an enzugiri, spinning drop toehold, and a juji gatame, but never a full match.
He was better in America. By a lot.
@Erfanceo @WrestlePurists This is the one I was waiting to see. I can't comment on any WWE women's matches from the last 6-7 years, but until Mercedes/Hazuki, nothing came close to the Takeover Brooklyn match.
@xXMajestikXx@EnuffaDotCom@stevenfilms1998 He suggested that WWE go back to what made them big in the first place, a formula that has been used to great success in wrestling all over the world for decades.
WWE's style is a new concept even for them. WWE is 70 years old and the micromanaging has been around for under 20.
@garrettkidney What gets me is that so many people are actually buying the "piledrivers are the most dangerous move in wrestling" narrative as if it's legitimate, and not just a WWE storyline.
Piledrivers have been consistently performed cleanly and safely for 50+ years.
