Thank you, Coach Tomlin, for the hard work, dedication and success you brought to the Steelers over the last 19 years.

Breaking: After a historic 19-season run in Pittsburgh, Mike Tomlin just informed his team that he is stepping down as the Steelers head coach, sources tell @JFowlerESPN and me.

The Steelers now will be looking for only their fourth head coach since 1969.

@AuthorGFAllen To make it my career and to share stories with people.

I’ve seen many writers get stuck in the mindset of setting high expectations for their writing or their career (ex: expecting your book to be a runaway bestseller or expecting to get an offer of rep w/in a specific timeframe).

A quick reminder for #amwriting authors (🧵):

@PSLiterary Greatest gift I have is the ability to share stories and it’d be selfish to keep that to myself.

@authorcfturner Nope! My grandmother did. She taught me how to read and write when teachers couldn’t.

@faultyharb My scenes are “incredibly immersive.” Being able to transport the reader is one of the greatest feats I can imagine!

[Nicholas Meachen @NickMeachen]

@faultyharb Really put the reader in the setting. If you can transport them into your story, you’ve got ‘em.

@klhicks912 Something about novels always gets me! The progress, the character development. Love it all.

@IJSparks Same thing happened to me recently. Just keep swimmin’.

[Nicholas Meachen @NickMeachen]

@klhicks912 Unfortunately, not yet. Soon hopefully!
