Happy to be alive and striving to do good for one more day. Healthcare Pro. Not a Doctor 🙄And I block people who pretend to be from a country they aren’t. 😉
In the industry we call it “Credential Washing”.
Make no mistake, people will and probably have died because of it.
It’s a shame because I have worked with some amazing Foreign doctors who went through the process correctly.
This cheapens their struggle.
By the way, is anybody ever going to talk about how we ended up here?
Maybe when the American medical Association decided to cut class sizes in half for graduating physicians?
Maybe when the AMA decided that they weren’t going to build another school, even though the baby boomer generation was starting to push up and is going to need more care?
I mean, just generally speaking did you know that when a patient becomes 55 they go from an average of one visit a year to three visits a year?
And when they turn 68 they go from an average of three visits a year to five visits a year?
So if you had a wave of aging patients, wouldn’t you want to be prepared for those?
Oh yeah, and we’re generally living longer than when they made these decisions back in the 80s so the population of care is actually increasing almost exponentially.
Hey, but what do I know?
The other sad part about this entire thing is that if I put a gif of a hot nurse, I’m far more likely to have both men and women actually try and read this thing that could help them.
By the way, according to Stanley McChrystal uses this to highlight the scale of the problem in complex systems like healthcare, comparing it to more visible causes of death at the time (based on late-1990s data):
• More people died annually from medical errors than from motor vehicle accidents (43,458 deaths).
• More than from breast cancer (42,297 deaths).
• More than from AIDS (16,516 deaths).
That was before the credential washing crisis.
Those of us that have been in HEALTHCARE for a day or two we’re all nodding our heads and going yeah.
I’d be fascinated to know where I got this wrong by the way. I’m always excited to learn to grow an adaptive.
Zul Mohamed is a Carrollton resident who is currently facing multiple felony charges and is also a candidate for Carrollton mayor in the May 2026 election.
In 2024, Mohamed pleaded guilty to more than 100 felony counts related to a mail-ballot fraud scheme carried out during his failed 2020 Carrollton mayoral campaign.
Yesterday, he decided to hold an “anti-redneck” rally at Frisco City Hall. The rally did not go well for him. Hundreds of “redneck” patriots showed up, while he arrived completely alone with no visible support. Many of us confronted him about his views.
During those conversations, he stated that he does not support veterans - a bold statement considering that a large number of us there were veterans. He also said he wanted to dismantle the U.S. government and “rebuild it” while incorporating certain aspects of Sharia law.
At one point, I confronted him on the topic of abortion.
“At 6–8 weeks, you don’t think it’s a baby?”
“No.”
“When does it become one?”
“I don’t know.”
“So don’t you think that’s a little disturbing if you don’t know?”
“No.”
“Wow. Okay.”
When people tell you who they are, listen to them.
Ask your questions and let them answer.
They will reveal exactly who they are.
This man should not be in any elected position in America.
Police were filmed bashing a black man’s head in with their knee at a BLM rally.
Except, it wasn’t a black man.
And it wasn’t at a BLM rally.
It was a white protestor being brutalised for protesting the murder of a young white boy.
So, of course, the media won’t care.
Theo Von unloaded on America’s relationship with Israel, no script, no filter.
“I do have a lot of uncomfort about America’s relationship with Israel… It just feels like a satanic regime at this point.”
Then he went deeper:
“It feels like he’s just been compromised by Israel, by this dark government over there… It’s f*cking baffling. And it’s sick.”
Theo continued: “I don't believe the Israeli leaders have any intention to stop that or they have any care for the American people.”
“If we don't speak up now our children won't have the chance to speak up…either by law or worse.”
