📉 UK inflation falls to lowest rate since 2021

Inflation fell to 1.7% in September, with lower airfares and petrol prices as the main driver of the fall (@ONS).

Inflation is now below the @bankofengland's 2% target, raising the possibility of an interest rate cut next month.
