Because not all females give birth but only females can. It is an exclusively female activity. This doesn’t mean women must give birth. But men never, ever can.
For those who have never watched the Rio 2016 Olympic Women's 800m final please watch this.
Commentator: '(Semenya) has destroyed them'.
How grim that sounds now.
The female athletes lost 10 years at the pinnacle of their sport. Medals, earnings, careers.

Martina, here, crushing know-nothing, keyboard pundits is a pleasure to be savoured …you’ve got to love it…🤣❤️
“Should I give you the number for my gynaecologist?” 🤣🤣🤣
@TunedIntoTennis@swiateksg1rl Are you always this nasty? Should I give you the number for my gynecologist? Or anyone else? All female athletes, myself included, took the sex test back in the 70’s and 80’s. Lost many a match thanks to a bad period and PMS. Try again with your misogynist bullshit.
Perfectly reasonable and normal to take your team for a drink and put a smile on after you’ve been unceremoniously dumped in a coup. One of Britain’s finer traditions if you ask me.
It is very noticeable how the @MayorofLondon hasn’t posted about his visit to the @novaexhibition in London last week. Why could this be? He tweets about the opening of an envelope.
For context, here are some things he’s posted about recently:
*two beavers arriving in Ealing
*the 1995 Srebrenica genocide
*charity being at the heart of Islam
*The Music is Black festival
*9 posts about Pride
*South Asian Heritage Month
Alex de Minaur and Katie Boulter’s wedding photos featured in British Vogue.
Katie hand-stitched a piece of fabric from her late grandmother’s wedding dress into her own custom lace gown.
Looks like it was a beautiful, unforgettable day in Tuscany.

Shittiest posts I’ve seen in last 24 hours have been about Prime Minister’s wife’s appearance and criticising sacked ministers for going to pub with colleagues. A good reminder of why I’d never go into frontline politics. So grim.
I bet it wasn't even anyone gay who complained, but -- look, I'm trying to be more pleasant, but you can imagine the sort of workplace colleague who would complain. Can I say "pronouns in bio"?
The word in question is "poofter", one I find utterly harmless and, to be honest, it makes me giggle because it reminds me of Sgt Major Windsor Davies' oft-expressed views of his concert party troupe in It Ain't Half Hot Mum (which still makes me laugh like a drain, by the way, particularly and unfairly whenever Windsor Davies imitates Mr La-Dee-Da Gunner Graham.)
I'd put "poofter" in the same category of offence as "arse." It's not a word I'd go out of my way to use at work, but neither does it give me the vapours.
The really offensive term that is used nowadays "Qu*er". (I can speak only personally, of course, but I don't know any gay men or women who would be happy to be described thus.)
The alphabet people who hitched their wagon to gay lobby groups some years ago, of course, *love* it, because it's "transgressive" and non-indicative of same-sex attraction (which most of them, not being gay, do not experience. This last point is so weird when you think about it - that "T" in LGBT has nothing in common with "LGB" - and yet it explains where so many things have gone so very wrong in recent times. It's why I've been droning on for decades about refusing to be referred to as an "LGBTQ" person.)
I can imagine how all that reads to straight friends! So why should you care? Not only because the pollution of lesbian and gay charities by transgender activists has been fatally damaging to those charities themselves (who thinks well of Stonewall these days?) Not even only because that ideology has damaged the levels of acceptance gay people achieved after decades of persistent, civilised argument (because "Drag Queen Story hour" and the like are abominations).
But because that ideology is damaging to society itself. It is that ideology which has damaged the development of so many children, by telling them there are a "million genders" and that they might have been "born in the wrong body." It is that ideology that forced the heroic Sandy Peggie to undress in front of a man in the "female" changing room. Perhaps "Qu*er" is a good word for such perverted thinking. But it's still a slur, in the way that the silly 1970s hang-over "poofter" is not.
Poor Nicky Campbell. I expect he feels a bit of an arse [insert your choice of fnarr-fnarr remark here.]

I am no fan of Reeves or Starmer, but come on, the fact that they did what any sane person would do having just been kicked out of office - go to the pub - makes me slightly warm to them if anything. What would you have them do? Sit in a dark room wearing a hair shirt?
There are only two sexes, and when anyone tries to deny this they literally only list the two sexes - male & female - never a third or fourth, exactly as you have done. Seyer Syndrome, for example, is not a third sex. It’s a condition within the female sex.
There really is no need to beclown yourself to get men into women’s sport, because even if there was a third sex, it would just create a new sport category, not put men in women’s sport.
Ed Miliband, the man who made a catastrophic error of judgement when he decided to use a parliamentary vote on intervention in Syria to placate the Labour left and score a fleeting political victory over David Cameron, is a terrible choice for Foreign Secretary.
Time to resend those letters to (latest) Chancellor about dire state of the Hospitality industry - not a single letter to Rachel Reeves on VAT even got acknowledged, let alone replied to, sadly.
There are approximately 4 businesses closing every single day due almost entirely to the extortionate rate of VAT that they pay compared to the rest of Europe.
*A closed business = £0 to Treasury!*

If there were more than two sexes, we’d know about it. Nobel prizes would be given for discovering it (assuming it hadn’t been “discovered” a million years ago). Society would be structured around it. And it still wouldn’t mean that men can go into women’s spaces or sport.
Yvette needs to look closely at the Government’s plan to chemically castrate 200 kids this autumn and call it a “puberty blockers trial”. It is not too late to stop this ideological madness.
There has been zero opposition to the new @WTA rule to test for sex from active players.
Not from Sabalenka, Gauff, Pegula, Rybakina, Świątek.
None.
No criticism that it is too invasive or isn't inclusive.
None. Zero.
The players want it.
There’s a tacit conspiracy to never discuss this.
The Tories don’t want to admit they presided over redistribution from high earners to low earners.
And Labour doesn’t want to credit the Tories with it.
Right? Wrong? You decide. But it happened.
