@tomhfh We don’t need any more north Sea Gas - we have unlimited supplies available from Norway being pumped straight in to The Gas grid.
And by the way, the sun does always shine and the wind does always blow even if it’s not over the UK – with 10 inter connector we are fine.

@MyraButterworth @EdConwaySky Quite misleading reporting from Sky - Norway is the largest supplier of Gas to the UK as well as to the EU, followed by North Africa and the USA. None of these supplies will be impacted by the Straits of Hormuz. Financial impact yes but no shortage of supply.

@tomhfh Hmm - who to believe ? Little Tom or The International Monetary Fund who estimates that global fossil fuel subsidies amounted to $7 trillion in 2020, according to Our World in Data.
This includes subsidies for coal and natural gas as well as oil.

@patriotpathway @JamesMelville Here is London sea levels over 200 years from official figures - where we built a tidal barrier in 1982 and now we will have to build another higher one by 2035 to save the city. Or you could base your argument on old photoshopped postcards to prove your point.
