@seagull4a@RPNKTories Hi Linda, sorry our election material didn’t get to you. Very happy to explain more about our policy platforms. We could meet at the office on the URR or they can let you have my contact details.
Pleased to have written for @CapX on pension reforms, what they mean and some ongoing issues: https://t.co/jTwZvPk7XQ
They could have gone further but this is definitely a positive step. There are things to watch out for including everyone trying to get their hands on the cash!
"Finally, after a series of missteps and backward steps, we are seeing something which might amount to the beginnings of a growth agenda from the Government (even more pressing after this morning’s quarterly growth figures)..."

This piece by the CEO of @TimothyTaylors brewery shd be required reading for politicians / officials who haven’t worked outside govt. A sad indictment of current and recent governments (including ones I worked in) failing to support the private sector

Since the Election, the Govt has cancelled plans to sell NatWest shares to the public & abandoned the British ISA. Now the PM has said that people with income from shares do not fit his definition of 'working people'.
Not sure they're as keen on retail investing as I am.
This is completely absurd. The CMA is holding up a £2.5bn merger in the property industry because of concerns about the housing market in one 11 mile part of Shropshire. https://t.co/YzO3mhwmhv
Today’s gold in eventing is a good example of our ability to combine our strength in sitting on things with our strength in bouncing on things, of course.
@AnthonyTeasdale@AntBreach @hboardk @JackTShaw I’d prefer one county but I’d have more time for SW Lancs, SE Lancs (or whatever you want to call Manc part) and then a North Lancs if Lpool and Manc come back… but if we’re sticking with a carved up county (cos of LCR and GMCA) then the rest should just remain as Lancashire.
@AntBreach@JackTShaw Ha, touché! I’ll have to look at these HS-TTWAs more closely but an east-west Lancs divide doesn’t intuitively make much sense to me but I’m from north Lancs. Maybe makes more sense if you’re from the coast. I wouldn’t be in favour of a divide at all tbh.
