Please send Coby Mayo to Triple-A.
He doesn’t have it at the plate and his defense is not strong enough to keep him up. He just looks lost out there.

Out to Lunch w/@royal_farms & @nickpolinsky
Every NFL offseason is one of change. We already have 3 new head coaches in the AFC North. Now one of the league's most dominant players is on the move.

My man I was outside stacking firewood and listening…..yelled so loud you could hear it echoing off the Cypress Trees! The #Milkman@CowserColton does it again with a 💣 and the @Orioles walk it off! #Birdland
@brendan_duffy95 When you weed it out to min. 10 attempts against he’s 8th.
He has the most attempts against of anyone in the full top 10 which probably makes the ranking more impressive than it seems.
Felt like Adley Rutschman had a lot of problems throwing out runners over the past few years.
This year he’s been great. He’s throwing absolute darts.
He’s caught 9-of-25 this season which is T-9th in the league by percentage.

Can’t thank everyone enough!
@PayneMasaitis He’s quietly been one of our most constant relievers over the last four years.
Has no minor league options left and if he gets DFA’d he’s gonna be gone. Solid lefties aren’t easy to come by.
Suarez also can’t pitch now for 3-4 days.
Since joining the Orioles, Tyler O’Neill is 10-for-87 against LHP (.115)
In his O’s career as a whole, he’s 49-for-265 (.185)
Seems like we’re watching the sunk cost fallacy play out in real time.

I tiered QBs based on who I'd want to start a franchise with RIGHT NOW.
Contract value, age, & opportunity cost are all factors.
E.g., Drake Maye is the most valuable QB. Josh Allen might even be a little better, but Maye is YOUNG & CHEAP. And probably better.
Explanations👇
Everything doesn’t need to be quantified.
When a team simply isn’t performing it shows and that’s what’s going on right now—that’s all he was saying.
Ben also commonly refers to the analytical side and contextualizes it very well so it’s not like he’s blind to it all.
I love Ben McDonald dearly but this is just more meaningless word salad.
“Do you make plays? Do you make pitches?” What does that even mean? Let’s quantify that! But the minute we put that into numbers OH GOD WE’RE DOING THE EVIL ANALYTICS NOT THE ANALYTICS
