@MyGolfSpy I can’t even read the linked article without a video continuously popping up on my screen. The definition of a bad take, click bait, to get X/online impressions.
@MyGolfSpy@Nike Love the look and comfort, and will def keep. But I had to buy two pairs to piece together one pair of good quality. The toe area had cottage cheese dents, one shoe in each pair. Sent the bad ones back.
@LouStagner@LouStagner THANK YOU for putting this out there, I’ve always wondered about this!!!
One alternative I’ve thought (without being able to do the calcs) when doing net off the low handi is to give the strokes to the higher handicap on 13-18?
@LouStagner Did you feel like there were some misreads by the LMs? Fitz and Ricky both seemed to have a shot that their face read “Huh???”, and they just smiled as they walked away, tight-lipped. “This is Tiger’s sponsored tech, not a word about poor performance!” is what it felt like.
@Top100Rick By myself June ‘24 and played 2 balls. Was a +0.5ish index at the time. Shot 81 (+8, par 73) on both balls from Championship tees, not Tournament tees. Only had 2 birdies, 15 & 16 on the same ball. Hit good drives and 2nd shots, still took 3 to get on 18.
@LouStagner@pclawson27@leaderboardco Greens like that are gimmicky, and you don’t need ditches or ridges to make a green tough. Also, those severe slopes are hard to keep green (although that one looked nice, must be in the north).
Putter all the way for me.
@LouStagner @DadsterX I love how those that have followed @LouStagner for a while can like this GIF to show they know what he means without saying it. Sorry @DadsterX, you’ll have to go back through previous newsletters and posts, no need to wait for the book on that question.
@GlorifiedDonkey Not what I was expecting after hearing you guys talk about them on the pod. Whatever makes the caddies job easier, and play faster, I’m all for it!
@Commish1158@4golfonline Yes, see who wins the day money. If it is significant purses for day money, that also prevents the bottom of the board (who make the cut) from trying to set fastest 18-hole round records on Sat/Sun. Improves in-person and early round tv watching too.
@4golfonline Start allocating part of the purses as “Day Money”. Coverage then moves to more of the golfers having outstanding rounds, not just the leaders (which can get boring). Also, trend is spending less time on/in golf. Less playing, less watching. TGL concept is a “nugget” of time.
@4golfonline@Commish1158 If quality can decline in a 4th round, then why would fans watch? More and more are already watching much less coverage of Thur/Fri rounds. Then we’re really only watching for “Moving Day” (completion of 54 holes). Introduce “Day Money” to keep the quality up.
@NUCLRGOLF The TV ratings are proving, more golf is now what the fans want right now. It is also probably not what advertisers want. If they can get more eyes in less time, they’d be all-in. Producers might like it too, less overhead to telecast a tourney.
@ArccosGolf@PingTour@jertybird Long-time Arccos user, but with other brand of irons. Have a new combo set of Blueprint T/S about to go in the bag. What’s the best way to make the switch it Arccos while also maximizing future info from the “My Game Insights” tile through Ping?
@cityofokc BIG THANKS!!! I came home from work to see a wheel broke off on one of my big blue bins. It was replaced within 3 days without me having to ask! TYVM!!
