This is correct. Jamaica’s rating would have jumped to 184 after the Commonwealth Games but will now drop back to 182, exactly where it was before.

@xLurch @OrangeLight12 @cazzrhughes T&T beat Jamaica in the final game to win the Gold medal. Vindication for their decision to prioritise the CAC games. The ranking boost Jamaica would have gained from beating Aus has been wiped out by losing to a team 8 places below them.

Commonwealth Games Semi-Finals and Finals: Whatever the top 4 placings, @AussieDiamonds will remain ranked 1st and @SilverFernsNZ 2nd. If @NetballJamaica win the Gold Medal, they will go up to 3rd (@EnglandNetball 4th). Any other outcome and it remains England 3rd, Jamaica 4th.

Commonwealth Games Classification Matches: Whatever the outcome of the match, South Africa will remain 5th and Uganda will remain 6th in the world rankings.

Commonwealth Games Netball Classification Matches: If Malawi beat Scotland, they will climb to 8th in the ranking, Scotland remaining at 10th. If Scotland win they will reach 9th in the rankings, just behind Wales, with Malawi dropping to 10th.

Commonwealth Games Netball Classification Matches: The winner of Tonga vs Wales will go into 7th. The loser will finish in 9th if Malawi beat Scotland, or 8th if Scotland beat Malawi.

If @netballni beat Trinidad and Tobago, they would return to 14th in the rankings, with Trinidad and Tobago dropping to 17th. A loss for @netballni would put them in 19th with Trinidad and Tobago finishing 13th.

Here's the Top 10 following the conclusion of the Africa Netball Cup and the Horizon Series. @NetballJamaica and @EnglandNetball now sit on identical ratings, with Jamaica just retaining 3rd place by a fraction. @NetballSA and @UgandaNetball solidified their 5th and 6th places.

Africa Nations Cup Rankings Impact: @Malawi_Queens made the 3rd/4th playoff but were just pipped by @NetballZimbabwe and slip down to 9th Namibia. had a tough group and ended up in the 7th/8th playoff, beating Tanzania, but still dropping 2 places to 18th.

As it stands, in the next annual update @NetballJamaica would move up to 2nd with @SilverFernsNZ in 3rd and @EnglandNetball in 4th. However, if @EnglandNetball win the series 2-0, @SilverFernsNZ would be 2nd, @EnglandNetball 3rd and @NetballJamaica 4th.

Horizon series: if @EnglandNetball win the series 2-0 they would be sitting on the same rating as @NetballJamaica but just behind them in 4th. However the impact on next year’s rankings is more significant…

Celtic Cup 2025: An unbeaten record for @SheCranes pushes them up to 6th, with @WalesNetball_ dropping a place after a couple of tough losses. @NetballScotland solidify their 10th place and a couple of good wins for zimbabwenetball brings them up to 12th.

With New Zealand winning both series against Scotland and England, there is little change in the rankings.

The gap between @SilverFernsNZ , @NetballJamaica and @EnglandNetball has widened a little, with New Zealand looking secure in 2nd as they finish their international season.

England vs New Zealand outcomes: whatever the result of the series @SilverFernsNZ will remain 2nd in the rankings and @EnglandNetball will remain 4th. However an England series win would make the upcoming Horizon series vs @NetballJamaica very interesting.
