The Denver Nuggets are waiving veteran center Jonas Valanciunas, sources tell ESPN. Valanciunas is expected to receive interest from multiple NBA teams.
@Baldmojito I’m totally with you on that. Gotta hope these contracts become valued and tradable, only real way I can see for upgrades. Here’s to hoping Adou/Carr really POP, and these perceived higher paid contracts surprise us 🤞🏼💜💛
@Baldmojito Still holding out hope with the Dodgerification overseeing the ops. Ayton as a backup or part of salary in a trade is fine by me. We move in silence, holding onto the fact that much more is coming. Of course I could be fooling myself as well though
@imageofanewdawn I assumed that would’ve shrunk who the real suitors are. But we’re still getting reports of a slew of teams. Like why isn’t Giannis exerting his contract to go where he wants. And maybe that’s exactly what’s happening behind the scenes. Just interesting that’s been kept locked
@imageofanewdawn What’s interesting to me, is both sides must be playing ball, because neither side has leaked Giannis’s preferred destinations. You’d think we would see that by now. The entire industry doesn’t know what Giannis really wants, which you’d think would matter for the teams trading
@imageofanewdawn There were a lot of deserving coaches from the Spurs to the Pistons, I get no one thought the Celts would be in the top of the east again, but same goes for the Spurs in the west or the Pistons as the 1 seed
“I think it definitely starts with us. … We need to show what we can do. If we’re going to do it, we’re both going to do it and the group is going to follow” - Luka Doncic on the leadership role him and LeBron James need to fill to get the Lakers back on track
