I’ve always had trouble writing resumes and tailoring them to the job I’m trying to get. After looking over the examples and ideal formats it’s helped me reevaluate the information I use in my resume #RHUB305

When I graduate there’s a multitude of labs I can apply to in the area but I think the easiest is to apply to the lab I currently intern at since I already have rapport with the employees and management there #RHUB305

@carleybaltes201 I’m studying biochem hoping to get into a lab of almost any sorts. Most my experience is customer service type work and I only have one job that applies to my goal but based off today’s talk I’m definitely using functional pieces of past experience to market myself

For my resume I intend on focusing on jobs that have impacted my experience in the workforce and show how I can be responsibly self managing. In addition I plan on showing important classes I’ve taken that show my knowledge on the duties I’d be expected to learn #RHUB305

@jclyell96 It made me feel like if the vaccine timeline is quickly approaching by the time we graduate we’ll have just missed the mass hiring that will follow the pandemic and won’t get that easy in to a job we might’ve wanted

I think the article while short is a helpful positive message to students about the job market during and post pandemic. From my experience both my jobs had large hiring freezes early pandemic but when given the go ahead followed through with a mass hiring to make it up #RHUB305

@carleybaltes201 I think this is a good topic and sub claim because emojis help bring a tone to virtual conversations and help convey emotions (like sarcasm or honesty) without having to blatantly say what you meant. Emojis help bridge emotion to the empty words received via electronic messaging

A sub-claim I want to focus on in my paper is the harm pseudoscience has on not just individuals but entire populations. This sub claim is important b/c most people who oppose vaccines tend to lean to unproven healing techniques that can do more harm then good #RHUB305
