@MargaretChowdh1@RelyOnTodd@Kinza1278 Sharia law has no legal jurisdiction in the UK, British civil law takes precedence regarding rights, equality, and criminal matters. Muslims can use voluntary, non-binding Sharia councils to seek guidance or resolve personal disputes like marriage, divorce, and inheritance.
@RelyOnTodd@Kinza1278 It's a constitutional monarchy. The king is basically our Head of State. The power is in Parliament. I much prefer King Charles to President Starmer!
@anon_opin What are you on about? I'm Welsh and lived most of my life here, I've never seen any English acting the way that you describe. Made up grievance on your part.
If Plaid Cymru’s Welsh Government is presently in search of ideas for economic renewal, a formal investiture of His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales is at least worth consideration.
The principle of recommending such an event to Kensington Palace is one, according to Beaufort Research, which the Welsh public would support; their polling suggests that 61% of the Welsh public are in favour of a formal investiture for the Prince of Wales.
The investiture of the then-Prince Charles in 1969 is estimated to have generated £2.9 million for the Welsh economy, which, if I am not mistaken, would be around £60 million today.
One might therefore think it curious that an opportunity of this scale would be so readily overlooked, particularly by those who claim to prioritise Wales’ economic interests.
Plaid Cymru would be foolish and quite unwise not to pursue this, given its evident economic benefit. Whether their separatist ideology permits them to unleash our economy’s potential, of course, another matter.
Conservative Party Leader Kemi Badenoch on why Starmer must resign, Donald Trump, Israel, Nigel Farage, Brexit and more - the FULL interview right here
@KemiBadenoch | @piersmorgan
I rejoined the Conservative Party and voted for Kemi Badenoch to ensure Robert Jenrick never became the party leader. Both her and his actions over the past two days alone prove this was the right thing to do.
I’m not going to amplify Reform’s ad by sharing it, but the wilful misrepresentation of Kemi Badenoch - selectively quoting what she said about ‘white lives matter’ - is disgraceful and dangerous.
It needs to be challenged, including by those of us who are not Conservatives.
