@ABC Metal detectors are effective and tangible & in some schools. Honestly, "Miss Crabtree protecting our little Rascals" with a gun? It's a slapstick comedy, only nobody will be laughing, only dying. Schools just have to catch up with today's security standards. Get those scanners.

These cost roughly $5,000 each. If we have two walk-through metal detectors installed in each of our 25,000 public high schools across the US, it should cost roughly $250 million. Perhaps this is something we should seriously consider!! Can't hurt.
@CotyJFerguson@realDonaldTrump@TheCW@blacklightning That's true. Well I hope something gets done, preferably visually, something real, that will make your local schools safer than 2/14 and if Washington refuses to fund it, perhaps there are other ways to raise funds.
@YousufLatif1@realDonaldTrump Sign of the times. I worked in NYC during 9/11. They installed them in our buildings weeks after. They're a pain but I'm not gonna lie. I felt very safe and still do.
@CotyJFerguson@realDonaldTrump@TheCW@blacklightning This will actually make them feel safer than what they have now including drills that make them tick underneath their desks. This will avoid the criminal from even entering the schools and therefore negate the need for those scary drills which in sure the kids are disturbed by.
@realDonaldTrump ...Since we already have walk-through metal detectors installed in numerous office buildings and that was primarily a response to 9/11, I think it'd be a good idea to do the same to protect our children. Would love to hear your thoughts on this Mr President?
