This morning our copy of Action Comics #1, the first appearance of Superman sold at Heritage for a final sale price of $1,150,000. We have to wait for the official breakdown to be generated for an exact number but based off this number, that’s a minimum of $10k at least that will be donated each to Book Industry Charitable Foundation, @heroinitiative, and ComicsPRO based off of the agreed upon % that’s in our contract with the original owner. Congrats to the new owner of the holy grail of comic books! Up, up, and away!
