The Nursery children @stmatprimary have been learning the phoneme (sound) t. As it was #NoPensDay we did lots of lovely activities such as sewing teddies, building tall towers and train tracks. In art we put stripes on tigers and we made trains, tractors and teddies with dough.

No Pens Day Wednesday is a @Comm_nTrust and @ICANcharity project that encourages settings to put down the pens and run a day of speaking and listening activities!

And Year 3 were using the iPads for a Maths turn-taking game... one pupil told me #NoPensDay ‘Is fun... you get to do other things... I don’t like writing!’ And then told me off for using my pen! 📝❌ Well done St Matthias I saw lots of great activities this morning! 🗣👂🏼👍🏼
