Ok done it, after 5 weeks of walking and the odd bus and train I’ve made it. It’s been a lot tougher than I thought to be honest but of course that’s all forgotten now I’m here. If you can please visit my Just Giving page and donate what you can. Thanks

In Italy if you have a drink before dinner it’s called an Apperitivo. Tomorrow is my last full day’s walking then I’m staying at a convent so I’m taking the opportunity to have a few Apperitivo’s tonight
Just got so massively lost, a combination of no signal and daydreaming and I found myself in the middle of nowhere. About an hours walk to get back on track I think!
Morning folks, made it to Montefiascone last night, 41km walk truly knackered, stayed in a Monastery with no signal and WiFi; jeez their so behind the times!
Morning folks today is a catch up day, took an early bus to skip a section, then a 27km walk, then another bus to end the day, that should put me on schedule to reach Rome on the 2nd or 3rd.
