@AlanFraser7 I was always fascinated (read stunned) by this when a youngster in the late 60s/early 70s. If memory serves it was in an alcove that you kind of stumbled across - I could never work out where the light was coming from!

@neilhwilliams @Finndog2018 For posh you could go membrillo/manchego or Neil’s Brie/Camembert with quince jelly (pretty much membrillo). Like your mum, I’m happy with the supermarket cheddar and a dollop of strawberry/raspberry/apricot jam. Throw caution/taste to the wind and factor in some peanut butter.
