Lambeosaurus species diversity. A recent study (April F. et al., 2026) suggested that the canals and sacs of lambeosaurine crests could have served as reservoirs not only for air but also for water. Hadrosaurs could have sprayed rivals and impostors with water, like a squirt gun.
