@Sisyphus43 So that Presidential oath to "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution" does not include obeying it? And for this court, the judicial oath doesn't either?
Justice Sotomayor's dissent in the homelessness case:
"Sleep is a biological necessity, not a crime. For some people, sleeping outside is their only option. The City of Grants Pass jails and fines those people for sleeping anywhere in public at any time, including in their cars, if they use as little as a blanket to keep warm or a rolled-up shirt as a pillow. For people with no access to shelter, that punishes them for being homeless. That is unconscionable and unconstitutional. Punishing people for their status is 'cruel and unusual' under the Eighth Amendment."
BREAKING: CNN just released their fact check of Donald Trump throughout the debate. It turns out Donald Trump lied on just about every answer. Retweet so all Americans see this vital fact check on Trump’s BS.
@BarackObama A President must, as you once did, articulate the contrast clearly, the choices, the greater good in the soul of this nation. A person running for President right now can not fail for a second to be able to do this.
If German kids are strong enough to learn about the Holocaust, then children in the U.S. should be strong enough to learn about the Native American genocide. Agree? #WoundedKneeMassacre
Our constitution values liberty, freedom of expression, the rights of loving parents to stand for their children's individual rights of self determination. It also considers all people to have the right to exist within their gender, whatever gender that is, without discrimination
@SaltyHamsterdr1 Utter bullshit-- forcing families and kids to be who YOU want them to, to live how you want them to, to be someone they are not and do not want to be. Who does that? Extremists do. On a good day, conservatives care about families and freedom and parental rights.
This law was not compassionate. It forced kids to undergo puberty that'd demoralize them, forced their parents who know & love them to watch helpless. What part of this is freedom or love or government solving the real problems Idahoans face everyday? Terror in the form of law.
You're struggling to pay #rent and make ends meet... and YOUR lawmakers are busy doing what? Trying to make the world more ugly for #transgender people. Can state government please focus on the very real housing & economic crises Americans are facing?
1. The 2023-2024 anti-trans legislative tracker is now live. This tracker was used by most major media outlets to follow the various bills as they moved around the country.
Already we have 80 bills and 2024 hasn't even started.

Our rural schools will suffer most but every dollar siphoned out of our schools hurts our students, teachers and state. The last thing we need to do is weaken Idaho public schools.
