Setting your spouse up to fail, toddler edition. Make up a story about a child named Sophie who loves the colour green to help toddler out of a meltdown. Forget to relay said made up story to your spouse. Toddler asks for story later in day from spouse. Good luck!
@WinnyClarke In an age of calling people in to better information (not calling people out), using the term “spirit animal” can be offensive and a form of cultural appropriation. Consider another phrase suggested here. https://t.co/eS3aFWjTuO
Violence against Mi’kmaw fishers is completely unacceptable. The Mi’kmaq people have a Treaty right to fish and to earn a livelihood. They should not have to fear for their safety or worry about their property being damaged. (1/2)
One of the reasons I don't require students to turn on cameras during a zoom class is because of the enormous gender gap in what it means to be "camera ready." if you don't wanna makeup and flat iron today, don't do it! reclaim your time! throw up a bitmoji for an avatar and 👍🏽
@danyell_chaplin My advice, if you plan to breastfeed, or even if not, you’ll still be feeding round the clock. Make yourself a little nursing basket, especially for middle of the night with water (you’ll never be more thirsty!) and snacks.
@allysongroves@_jenitalia I think this is our hint to start pushing. But obviously not too hard. Because it’s Allyson and that has never worked. But hint taken. 😎
“Mommy! Get off [the couch] and make breakfast” -my two year old.
I blame @allysongroves for teaching her we’re all her fans and need to pay our taxes.
@allysongroves Right? Don’t be bring them home a day or two early expecting them to still be there when she wants them. Bring them home to eat that night, or don’t plan on eating them. 🤷♀️
Kari still has to work during this time, while I stay home with the kids. But, like, how dare she have the audacity to expect there to be snacks left when she gets home.
