My second pillar is rebuilding our military and industrial base. That will necessitate an audit of the Pentagon.

[Secretary of War Pete Hegseth @SecWar]

Honored to welcome @IsraeliPM to the Pentagon as my first official visit as SECDEF. Together, Israel and America make each other stronger, safer and more capable. The United States has no greater ally than the state of Israel and we are fully committed to its strength and security.

Companies like Aeroman are key to preventing migration and building a middle class. Security and stability make this possible, and bravo to President Bukele and his leadership for providing that. An impressive place to visit!

[Brett Cooper @imbrettcooper]

It’s pretty great how life works LOL.

I was raised in a highly dysfunctional family, and as a child, I instinctively became the peacemaker. I did everything I could to not rock the boat.

As I grew up, my doormat behavior only got worse. I would literally want to throw up and stop eating before having to stand up for myself.

I hated this, and I would often pray for courage.

I think God laughed and knew exactly what he was doing because suddenly, I started to find myself in situations that consistently tested my boundaries and resolve.

Situations where the only option has been to face it head on and go through it. Into the lion’s den.

Courage didn’t come easily or automatically, but I’m glad it didn’t. I’m glad I was forced to earn it. I’m better for it. Hopefully that helps someone going through it rn :)

#OTD in 1967, John McCain was shot down and taken prisoner. He would spend 5 and half years as a PoW during which time he was routinely tortured. He refused an offer for early release. Whether you agreed with him politically or not, there is no denying that the man was tough.
