I've reapplied to medical school. If I get in, I will be an IMG. I've done endless research & I'm scared but I just can't give up on my dream of being a physician. IMG advice happily accepted. :)

I had a #Latina patient who used a tablet to talk w/ staff. They would type & it would translate.

I spoke to them w/ my broken Spanish & they put the tablet away happy to have someone they could speak with directly.

We need more Latina/o's in healthcare! #RepresentationMatters

My Grandparents “disowned” me & wanted nothing to do with me when I was born because I was mixed. (I was the 1st grandchild)

That side of the family still posts racist stuff on FB even though myself and my siblings are all mixed.

@ECMcLaughlin I got through it and cut my mother from my life completely as an adult. What guts me is that my younger siblings also went through it and I didn't know and I'm heartbroken for them

@rheashetty23 I relate so hard to this! Apply to schools that don't look at MCAT. I had 1 interview so far because of that (still waiting to hear back from it).
