Fuel went from ₦185 to over ₦1,350 under one administration, and the average Nigerian is expected to smile through it. This is madness. People are exhausted.
This is what I have been saying, there is a reason why those that get more VAT are receiving a small number.
Largely because those with large VAT, were also collecting VATs that belongs to other states as well.
For example, all the dangote cement used in the South East, the VAT is collected by Lagos, so that is why SE gets more than it "generates",...
....so this is the tax man, taking some of the VAT that Lagos collected on behalf of the SE and giving it back to them. It is not like the SW is helping the SE, it is just giving them back what belongs to them.
That is generally how these things work. Normally every state should collects its VAT, but we are not a sophisticated nation.
We are in the 7th month of 2026 and the FG hasn't even began implementing the 2026 budget 😂!
What am I even saying?
They haven't implemented the 2024, 2025 nor 2026 budget.
But you tell me to Relax that Tinubu is fixing Nigeria?
You must be on Colos!
@Mr_stunner001@the_beardedsina But he had connections and money, you worked for them too.
Don't take it away from him. You don't wake up with connections and money, you earn them.
