Elon Musk just made an insane prediction.

He says that by 2036, money won't matter.

And once you hear his logic, it actually makes sense.

Musk's argument: money only exists to buy goods and services.

Once robots and AI produce far more of both than any human could possibly consume, the entire premise of needing money collapses.

Inflation is just the ratio of money to goods and services.

If output of goods and services increases by 1,000% while the money created stays below that rate, you don't get inflation. You get deflation.

His actual prediction is that deflation (not inflation) will be the real economic problem of an abundant AI future.
