Argue in code. Endless arguments about how you'd theoretically do something are useless. Instead, build something. Anything. Then modify it iteratively and collaboratively until you get to the best (you hope 😄) solution. Just start. Then refine and improve.

Lean folks talk about END-customer value, and that's an important qualifier, IMO. Even in B2B software, your customer's customer matters. A lot. If your software doesn't improve your customer's customer's life, you have not provided value to your immediate customer either.

The developer you are should not be defined by your github profile. Coding is much more than just commits on your spare time. This mindset is why most juniors are exhausted before they even started working as a dev ffs.

It's a red flag whenever I hear an SM say "How should I…" when that's not followed by "support the team…" The SM doesn't do things for the team. The SM supports the team as it does those things themselves.
