For me, there isn't one.

The debate exists because television needs content and social media needs arguments.

When I watch football, I don't see a debate.

I see Messi.

Then I see everybody else.

That doesn't mean other legends weren't incredible.

It means I've never seen another player influence a match, a team and an entire generation of football the way Messi has.

And today was another reminder.

He didn't need a hat-trick.

He didn't need to score from 40 yards.

He just needed to be Lionel Messi.

And suddenly Argentina looked like a completely different team.

That's greatness.

Not when everything depends on you.

When everybody becomes better because you're there.

I've played against great players.

I've played with great players.

But Messi is the only player I've ever watched and genuinely thought:

'This isn't normal.'

The scary thing?

Opponents know exactly what he's going to do.

And they still can't stop it.

That's why I don't waste my time with comparisons anymore.

Some players become legends.

Some players become icons.

Messi became a category of his own.

And after today's performance, if you're still asking me who the greatest footballer of all time is...

You're asking the wrong question.

Ángel, hubo un equipo en el fútbol argentino que daba cátedra adentro de la cancha: el Newell's de Martino. Fue reconocido por todo el país, no solo en Buenos Aires. No se lo menospreció ni se le discutió nada, porque no había qué discutirle. Tenía figuras de Selección y sentido de pertenencia, como el que tenés vos. Hasta hoy hay gente hincha de otros cuadros que me dice con bronca cómo no ganó la Libertadores ese año. A vos hoy se te reconoce cada gol, asistencia y gambeta, como corresponde, pero no podés tapar el sol con las manos.

Si el domingo Max Verstappen no consigue descontar los puntos necesarios para seguir en la lucha por el título, la FIA anunció que, en convenio con la AFA, será declarado campeón 2025 de la Fórmula 1 Rosario Central.

Otra más del fútbol argentino y van. Lamentablemente ya hay que normalizar las irregularidades de la AFA.

Destruyeron el fútbol argentino, y lo más triste de todo es que lo peor está por venir.

No es contra Central, objetivamente fueron el mejor equipo del año, pero si quieren premiar la regularidad hagan un torneo de 20 equipos con 38 fechas, y no el mamarracho de formato que hay ahora. Acá el problema son los torneos que organizan y la poca seriedad que conllevan.

Aún así me parece más grave que anuncien el título cuando ya terminó el año, pero con esta AFA hay que acostumbrarse a esas cosas.

Nadie que quiera de verdad a nuestro fútbol puede estar a favor de lo que estamos viviendo en estos últimos años. Tenemos recursos para ser la mejor liga del continente, y lo único que hacen es empeorarla.
