Want your delay to sound like it's splashing around?

Put a reverb in front of the delay at 100% mix and you'll hear the reverb echo away.

Bonus ponts if you use ping-pong delay.

Just a friendly reminder that you can run your reverbs into delays, and delays into reverbs.

There are many ways to do different things when producing or mixing. 🤠

If you want to really separate a reverb from something like a vocal, put a delay plugin in front of the reverb plugin at 100% mix, and an 1/8th or 1/16th delay.

This will cause a clear gap between the vocal finishing, and the reverb starting.
