heather buying cups into robby’s apartment sends him into rage (he doesn’t show it) cause it makes their relationship serious and scares the shit out of him. langdon accidentally breaking one sends him into rage (he does show it) (a little) cause it’s all he has left of her
@nabakovienne consent was brought up here and i agree i worded it poorly based on that. doesn’t change the fact that sexual preferences esp when it comes to harmful practices can be changed with therapu and understanding of trauma
my hot take is that certain kinks shouldn’t be practiced at all, and instead you and your partner should look into why you want to hurt/get hurt (usually it’s learned behavior, consuming porn/nsfw content, trauma response, desperate need in aftercare, unprocessed anger)
@nabakovienne i didn’t say sex with kink is not consensual, but i agree, i dont think we can have a productive conversation on this, since you’re twisting what i’m saying to fit the "kinkshaming!1!!" narrative
@nabakovienne it’s not about making sense to me. it’s about harm being done to the psyche of people involved. i literally cannot in any way affect the way other people have sex and im only stating things for some people to read and critically think
@nabakovienne changing sexual preferences and unlearning harmful practices and learning how to enjoy consensual sex is possible and it’s harmful to say otherwise
