In particular, RA 11202 allows consumers to keep their mobile numbers across service providers and subscription types without any additional charges or fees. The law also provides strict timelines for processing, ensuring that the period of service disruption does not exceed 4 hours.

Sen. @risahontiveros’s RA 11210 or 105-Day Expanded Maternity Leave Law expanded the maternity leave with full pay for live births from 60 days (for normal delivery) and 78 days (for cesarean delivery) to 105 days (for any delivery method).

The law also provides an additional 15 days of maternity leave with pay for qualified solo parents.

Currently, Sen. Risa has filed Senate Bill No. 148 seeking to grant a maternity benefit to women in the informal economy who are non-SSS members.
