All course run by LIBF giving financial education in schools are stopping next year. We run these for yr 11,12 &13. There is no alternative course please try to get this decision reversed it is vital to young people financial education
@MoneyPensionsUK So why are the government not supporting financial education? When we loose the LIBF qualifications next year even less pupils will have access to personal financial education! #supportfinancialeducation
@MartinSLewis please can you help us finance teachers who are devastated at not being able to continue offering suitable personal finance qualifications in schools ๐
Huge changes were announced to financial education yesterday which will severely restrict the options for studying finance in schools as a formal qualification.
We are also going through a cost of living crisis so more pupils should be learning about managing their finances, not less! Please show your support in getting the government to rethink their funding choice for courses in any way you can. #supportfinancialeducation
@_MissAde I started 0.8 a few years ago. I donโt have children, it was either work four days or quit teaching. I still โworkโ on my day off but the extra time to feel on top of things is great.
